For parents/guardians and students, the SchoolMessenger Home app provides a user-friendly platform to conveniently review all communications sent through the SchoolMessenger service (phone/email/SMS). This centralized system enables the management of communication preferences and includes optional features such as teacher chat and absence reporting. Internet access via WIFI or a data plan is required. Additionally, a subscription to the SchoolMessenger Communicate service by the respective school or district is necessary.

Please note:

• SchoolMessenger Home is exclusively designed for receiving messages from SchoolMessenger Communicate sent by school or district personnel.
• If you are a school administrator or staff member seeking to send messages, the SM Sender App should be utilized.

** Please be aware that Chat and Attendance functionalities may not be universally available depending on your school or district settings.

What's new in version 1:

• Inbox: All broadcasts delivered to you via Communicate (phone/SMS/email) will be stored in the app Inbox, offering a unified access point for all communications irrespective of the delivery channel. This feature allows users to search, sort, filter, and delete messages.
• My Profile: Access your student information, manage communication preferences, seek help, and delete your account effortlessly from this section.
• Chat**: Engage in one-on-one or group conversations with teachers through this interactive platform.
• Attendance**: Report student absences or respond to unreported absences in partnership with the school. Please note that these options are discretionary and their availability may vary across schools.
